I have had a few personal trainers before Melissa and while I did become stronger under their training, they never went beyond taking me through the workout session they planned. In contrast, before my first training session Melissa had me fill out a form so she could learn more about me, my goals, what type of instruction I respond best to, and even exercises I particularly despise so she could plan my workout sessions with all of that information in mind. In addition, every couple weeks we sit down to evaluate how things are going beyond the workout sessions such as eating and sleeping habits, stressors, and changes to schedules that might be affecting me achieving my goals.
